Amulet wrote a detailed technical analysis to allow its client to increase the conversion rate of its website visitors into sales. The analysis included detailed information from Google Analytics and Google AdWords which allowed an updated website to be designed which was more aligned with the search engines. One of the project's main objectives was to replace paid-traffic from AdWords with organic traffic from Google's search results.The analysis yielded some interesting results; there were certain targeted key words that were performing better than others, this allowed the advertising budget to be concentrated in a smaller area yielding a higher rate of conversion. Rather than have an AdWord campaign which linked to the home-page which did not have a strong sales-message, a series of half a dozen 'landing pages' were conceived, any of which could be directed to depending on the key words that had been searched for by the end-user. The landing pages had a more focused sales-message which would be more compelling and relevant to the end-user. As a result of the analysis, the client vastly improved their conversion rate and online sales income.
