Amulet were commissioned by a leading firm of consultants to develop a global reporting portal using Reporting Services and ASP.NET.

As part of this project, a ASP.NET user interface was developed to allow end-users to configure the presentation and contents of the reports at run-time. The reports could be modified by end-users to include new headings, colours and conditional formatting.

To facilitate dynamic rendering of reports, a number of advanced reporting services techniques were used including custom assemblies, resource files, dynamic SQL and expression-based formatting.

The 'template' reports were designed to be multi-lingual and highly flexible to allow the client to use the same report template to meet the differing needs of their global client-base.
